Family Simulator Beach Games is a 3D simulation game that takes you on a virtual family vacation. It's not a game about fighting or competing, but rather about the mundane things of packing, having a picnic, seeing new locations, and doing things along the route. You play as each family member and work together to fulfil the tasks the game gives you.
The setting of the game rotates among several holiday spots. Besides the beach you can also visit alpine areas and try driving a 4x4 on snow covered roads. The walking, the doing activities, and the driving all serve to keep the excursion from being a single activity.
At each place you will have a list of things to accomplish. You may need to collect materials for the trip, drop off stuff at the right place, find relatives, or join in a picnic activity. Before you start, read the directions to find out what you need to do and where to go.
Another feature that stands out is the flexibility of exploration. You don't have to race straight to your target, you may walk around the region, look at the environment and find new areas.
